Copy Function

Movement of MetaStock data files between folders is controlled under the "Master".  When you want to copy data files from/ to anywhere (CD to PC, sub-folders to sub-folders within main folder, sub-folders to sub-folders between difference folders, and desktop to hard drive or vice visa), you can not simply copy and paste from one location to the other.  The followings are the steps:

Step One

Start The Downloader. Go to Tools to select Copy:

Steps Two

Look for the Historical Data CD which must be inserted to the CD Drive early:

Step Three

Select anyone of them and:

press and hold Ctrl + A to make sure all are selected

Step Four

The following should appear. Browse to look for the designation folder:

Step Five

Click OK to start copying.  If the designation folder is not exist, PC will prompt you to create a new folder.

Step Six

Move on to next folder and repeat the Step from One to Five.
